Firefighters
Blow art- making fire with food coloring.
Firefighters put out fires, which is not as simple as it may sound. Fighting fires is dangerous and complex, and it takes organization and teamwork.Firefighters also save people who are trapped in burning buildings.They treat people who are hurt or ill, both at fires and in other situations.
Community
Unit of Inquiry Community
Central Idea:
People in our community have certain jobs that help us learn, stay safe and healthy.
An Inquiry Into:
• Who makes up our community?
• The different jobs people have in our community.
• How certain community members help us learn and stay safe.
Transportation Display
We have been busy making boats, cars, airplanes and buses this month. Wonderful creations. We finished our unit with a display of our work for everyone to enjoy.
